FOUR-YEAR APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS:
SHEET METAL WORKER and SERVICE & CONTROLS TECHNICIANS
IT’S NOT JUST A JOB, BUT A CAREER
Apprentices can work on residential or commercial HV AC systems and will be required to attend 200 Classroom hours of related instruction per year (4 hours a night, 1 night per week & 4 Saturdays a year 8 Hours each Saturday).
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. Applicant must be 18 Years or Older.
2. Need a copy of the applicant’s High School Diploma or G.E.D.
3. Need a copy of the applicant’s Drivers License or State ID.
4. Need a copy of the applicant’s Social Security Card or Birth Certificate.
5. Complete application with required documents.
6. 2nd step of the process is taking the Oral Interview
7. All Applicants Who Complete the Process Are Placed On the Applicant List According To Their Composite Score (Oral Interview & Application Averaged Together)
8. Take a Pre-hire Physical and Drug Screen before being dispatched to work.
9. Applicants Are Advised To Have Reliable Transportation Due to Many Jobs Require Providing Personal Transportation To Various Job Sites Including Those Outside The Apprentice’s Hometown. Contractors May Require Valid Drivers License and Insurability as a Condition of Employment .
Employment is not guaranteed but it is dependent on the current demand for employees in the construction industry Our goal is to keep apprentices working while learning the trade is a safe and productive manner. Layoffs can occur for various reasons including, slowing down of construction, poor work performance, etc.
