MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The Otero County Branch-NAACP offers scholarships to any individual of Otero County wishing to pursue a course of study at New Mexico State University-Alamogordo or any other accredited institution of higher learning including vocational institutions. Applications are available to anyone without regards to RACE, COLOR, NATIONAL ORIGIN, ANCESTRY, RELIGION, CREED, OR PHYSICAL DISABILITY.
Applicants must follow the following criteria:
a) Have a high school diploma or graduated from an accredited GED program with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better
b) Provide an unofficial transcript with the application showing the final GPA
c) Must be accepted and/or matriculating at any accredited college, university or vocational school.
d) Provide two character references other than family.
e) All sections of this application must be properly and correctly completed.
f) Preference is that the application be word processed using the TimesRoman font, 11pt size, or typewritten.
