Otero County NAACP presents its annual Junteenth Celebration, Saturday, May 12th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Alamogordo Public Library, music and dance outside under the trees. Karunna Warren and his New World Drummers and Dancers will entertain with traditional African drums and dance. Dancing and singing encouraged. Everyone Welcome!

news on the radio in the Tularosa Basin to Alamogordo, La Luz, Holloman
AFB and Tularosa …. 7 days a week.
The KALH Farm & Ranch Report broadcast daily just prior to 7 AM was a
major factor in the selection of KALH as the NEW MEXICO STATION OF
THE YEAR for 2009 by the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Bureau.
Our “Spectrum” Local and Regional News is broadcast Mon-Sat, 6, 7, 8 AM
and Noon following the IRN/USA Network World and National News.
On Sunday it airs at 9 AM and Noon with a Sunday Headline Brief at 6, 7 and 8 AM so as to fit into syndicated programming. We also have server “Local News in Brief” updates at other times through the morning.
As a Non-commercial Community Station, with a stated emphasis on serving our listeners with frequent news and weather updates, we’d sure like to get news from you first hand.
You can call me anytime with urgent information at 575-491-3197. Our exclusive “INSTANT INTERRUPT SYSTEM” will allow me to break into regular
programming at a moments notice with emergency information, even if I am
