Our Mission
The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.

The vision of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights and there is no racial hatred or racial discrimination.
What We Are Doing
We work with our legislators to help pass pertinent legislation such as racial profiling.* We work with Boys and Girls Club! Big Brothers, Big Sisters! Participate in the MLK Committee, MLK annual celebration and participate in the annual walk in honor of Dr. King!
We are sponsors of the annual Educator of the Year Banquet, annual Juneteenth Celebration, drumming and dance workshops, Forum on Racism, Hold online classes on professional development for young people. Award grants to college applicants. We sponsor quarterly presentations by community experts on topics from “dental hygiene” to “violence against women”.
